A club unlike any other.

Star with blue lines

The mission of The Grace Club is to assure Grace’s continued service for the enjoyment of all at Palmetto Bluff. In partnership with local organizations, Grace will also be an ambassador to the entire Beaufort County area, serving as both as an educational platform and inspiration to others.

Grace charter fees, The Grace Club annual membership dues, and donations are used to fund operations—and the all-important maintenance a yacht of her stature deserves.

The Grace Club is a non-profit organization that has assumed ownership and operational responsibility of Grace. The Grace Club was founded by 45 Palmetto Bluff families and South Street Partners, who provided the initial funding to complete necessary repairs to return her to sustainable service for the benefit of all Palmetto Bluff residents as well as the broader Bluffton Community.

While Grace is beautiful, she is also very old. And, like any boat, older wooden yachts require constant attention and loving care in the form of regular maintenance such as varnish work, canvass work, hull and bottom repairs, woodworking and paint. That's where the Grace Club can make a world of difference.

WHAT CAN THE GRACE CLUB DO FOR YOU?

For over 15 years, Grace provided memorable cruising experiences on our beautiful May River, overlooking the town of Bluffton and the surrounding waterways. And she's ready to do it all again with a series of regularly scheduled May River Cruises and Private Charter availability.

JOINING THE GRACE CLUB: TWO MEMBERSHIP TIERS

The Grace Club has two tiers of membership: Trustees and Annual Club Members.

Much like the Founders of The Grace Club, Trustees contribute at a higher level in exchange for special commemoration and recognition, and as a means to help fund the many and varied operational and maintenance needs of Grace within the next few years. Trustees' names will be added to the permanent plaque that sits aboard Grace, and will also receive a special lapel pin designed only for Founders and Trustees. Founders and Trustees will also be recognized at the annual fundraising event, which will be hosted by South Street Partners, for the sole benefit of Grace.

In order to become a Trustee, we ask that you make a one-time donation of $5,000. After the first year, each Trustee's annual membership fee will revert to the annual club member fee of $1,250. But your Trustee status remains evergreen and intact.

In order to become a Trustee, please draft a check payable to The Grace Club, and mail it to Captain Lee Leonard at 3 Irene Street, Bluffton SC 29910. Or, simply call Captain Lee at 415 378-5314. Note: Please know that while The Grace Club is a non-profit entity, we do not yet have our 501-c3 status, so donations are not tax deductible at this point in time.

Annual Club Members, along with Founders and Trustees, qualify for the following benefits:

Eight tickets for all regularly scheduled May River cruises, a $760 value

Special discounted club rate on private charters

Access to dinner, holiday and co-hosted events

Exclusive access to Grace Club special events
