Grace is more than a beautifully restored yacht. She is the living symbol of Palmetto Bluff. Built in 1911, Grace is a gathering place where neighbors become friends, visitors discover the Lowcountry, and the community celebrates its shared heritage.
The Grace Club was created with one purpose in mind; Restore and operate Grace in a sustainable fashion so that residents and visitors to The Lowcountry can continue to appreciate her historical significance for generations to come.
In early 2026, The Grace Club was approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, opening the door to raise tax free donations for the benefit of Grace Club educational programs including our youth education outreach program.
Each year The Grace Club will hold two very special annual fundraising events. In Spring we host the Spring Grace Gala, and each Fall we host the Grace Cup Golf Tournament.
These fundraising events are created to ensure that this remarkable vessel continues to inspire future generations. Every sponsorship helps preserve Grace while advancing her educational mission and ensuring she continues to bring together history, philanthropy and community for generations to come.

The May River Golf Course brought golf to Palmetto Bluff. Opened in 2005, it is consistently ranked among the best courses in South Carolina. May River winds through the May River Forest beneath centuries-old live oaks, with several holes playing directly along the river’s edge. The May River Golf Club is more than a championship course—it is one of Palmetto Bluff’s defining experiences, providing an unforgettable setting for this year’s Grace Cup.
